Mission / Vision

It may sound a bit presumptuous to say that our vision goes beyond that of the great Charles Kepner, a trailblazer in the field of critical thinking, but it does. That’s because our vision is to create a close-knit community of those who have been trained in his groundbreaking techniques for decision-making and problem-solving, and even Chuck could never have imagined how many men and women his work has impacted.

In corporate offices and government agencies all around the world, professionals are applying Kepner’s methods to address and solve some of the most complex issues of our time. The only drawback to having so many devotees out there in positions of responsibility throughout the working world is connecting them, because the number is large and impressive and ever-growing. The term “Kepner Alumni” suggests an intellectual kinship, one that should be tended, nurtured and developed.

We want to bring together as many members of the Kepner extended family as we possibly can. We believe in the power of connection, and the extraordinary benefits of having so much brain power commingle for a chance to share stories, trade notes, exchange advice and pay homage to Chuck.

In creating Thinking Dimensions Alumni Association, we intend to put out a welcome mat for all who have been exposed to the teachings of Charles Kepner and his business partner Matt Fourie. Through the many benefits and offerings of being a member, you can maximize your association with the Kepner name. You can raise the already astonishing level of performance you’ve become accustomed to using your Kepner tool kit to even greater heights.

If you consider yourself a strategic thinker, the smartest move you can make is associating yourself with other strategic thinkers. You’ve heard the expression, “The smartest person in the room”? Our mission is to create a giant room full of people like that.
